About Me

Hi! My name is Kevin and I'm an aspiring developer with a high interest in web development, AI and machine learning and Cybersecurity. I'm currently in my 2nd year of studying Computer Science at Carleton University. As of now I'm exploring my options and learning web development on the side for both fun and to strengthen my tech stack. I look to consistently update and add to this web portfolio as I grow as a developer, learn new things and make more projects!

My Projects

toDoListProject

To-Do List

A simple and intuitive web application that is designed to help users keep track of and manage their daily tasks effectively in one place. Featuring a simple, but beatiful UI and autosaving of tasks through the use of local storage.

fnakProject

Five Nights at Kermz

This is a game I pair-programmed in Java for my final summative project in grade 12. It is a clone of the famous game "Five Nights at Freddy" (FNAF), except with a few of our own touches and coded from scratch using the Model-View-Controller (MVC) framework.

blackLineFollowerProject

Black Line Following Robot

A black-line following robot that I programmed using a PIC microcontroller with MPLABX, which uses C as its programming language. This was built completely from scratch and was created for my grade 12 computer engineering class (2022 - 2023).

trafficSystemProject

Breadboard Traffic Light Simulator

A traffic light simulator I created all the way in grade 11 (2021 - 2022) for my computer engineering class. It features the standard traffic light sequences, pedestrian signals and even railway crossing signals. It was programmed using a PIC microcontroller with MPLABX which utilizes C as its programming language.
